Second Screening Information 

We're so excited that we sold out for the first screening! Since there is such great demand for the documentary, we're going to hold a second screening the same night, at 9.15-10.45pm, immediately following the panel session. We encourage you to purchase your ticket as soon as possible as given the high demand, we expect to sell out quickly.

Young Women in Business (YWiB) is excited to host, in collaboration with the YWCA Metro Vancouver, Networking in Vancouver, PeaceGeeks, and Vancouver's Women Business Networks, a screening of the documentary Miss Representation.

Miss Representation is a documentary film that explores women's under-representation in positions of power and influence in America and challenges the limited portrayal of women in mainstream media.

Event Information- screening and panel discussion


doors open: 6.15pm

screening begins: 6.30pm

screening ends and panel session begins: 8pm (for first screening only)

At the end of the Documentary, we will be holding a panel session, feauturing panelists from the media and PR industry in Vancouver. The panel will discuss key issues presented in the trailer, the panelists' own experiences, and debate how each of us can contribute to creating change in Vancouver.
